How Can severe Stomach Pain Along With Vomiting Be Treated?

Thank you for your help. Early Sunday morning, I feel odd, and weak. Shortly after, I vomit and afterwards, have the runs. I feel unusually weak all day and had the runs plus pain in stomach. The pain comes and goes several times a day. The next day, still have the runs and pain in stomach comes atleast 5 times. Still feel weak and not hungry. Took pepto bismal but it did not help with the runs. Going to the toilet atleast 10 times today. May it s an ulcer, maybe my stomach is deteriorating, or maybe something worse. Appreciate your thoughts

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* The current issue of loose motions with abdomen pain and vomiting is indicative of underlying intestine infection.

* Proper care with antiemetic as Ondansetron, analgesic as Dicyclomine with GI specific antibiotics and probiotics are main recovering agents needed to be prescribed from your GP.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
